Paradox :- Watch Paradox on Youtube on Fire,A group of young scientists are working on a secret project that may allow them to travel ahead in time. They test it by sending one of their own ahead one hour. He returns pleading with them to shut it down, explaining that within that hour, they will all die. There is so much terrible crap out there that gets made, it’s difficult to weed through it to find a movie worth watching. This is one, and that’s why I decided to review it. I’m a big fan of sci-fi, especially low budget gems. If you liked “Primer,” “Coherence,” “Time Lapse,” or any independent sci-fi like those, you’ll like this. The acting was better than expected, the movie had a good pace, good story, and was well told. The only bad part of this movie was one CGI shot in particular that was kind of a “90’s TV CGI” effort. I’ll admit that in the beginning the acting was a bit wooden, but it got better. Despite those shortcomings this really was a good movie.Sean Nault is a detective in a world just like ours — except that magic rules the day and almost nothing is known of science. Someone is killing people using a device that can project a metal slug into the victim’s body, the lead revealing no trace of magic when subjected to analysis. Nault is in charge of the investigation, but is somewhat controversial for his non-use of magic in investigations, such as relying on his own perceptions to tell if a suspect is lying rather than using truth spells.
